With softer arc characteristics, improved restrikes, and exceptional arc stability, OK Goldrox is set to make welding out of position and post-weld cleaning smoother than ever. Its fast-freezing slag offers enhanced control, while the easy slag detachability ensures a cleaner finish.

According to the brand, specifically tailored for U.S. industries like structural steel, petrochemicals, and power generation, OK Goldrox 7018 meets rigorous standards with its AWS E7018-1 H4R classification. Its low diffusible hydrogen content and moisture-resistant properties make it ideal for preventing cold cracking and porosity in critical applications.
By the way, I should point out that I couldn’t find the product on ESAB’s website. I wonder why the product they announced isn’t listed in the category where it’s supposed to be.
